I am the owner principal podiatrist at Anne Melville Podiatry. I qualified from Salford University in 2015 with 1st class honours degree. After a short period of time spent in the NHS I went into private practice.

Having worked within the NHS previously as a registered general nurse, I really do thrive on being able to care for and help others. Therefore, while I am responsible for the overall running of the clinic, I still get to enjoy patient contact. I took a leap of faith in 2016 to become self employed; now I’m working with a tremendous team; it’s been such an exciting few years so far, and this is just the beginning.

A big part of my enjoyment of this profession is working with like-minded people who strive to be the best and do our best for our patients while supporting one another. I feel very privileged indeed.

Podiatry is a medical profession focusing on the foot, ankle and lower limb, however, for me its all about people. The people I work alongside, the people we help; that’s what make it so interesting for me.

More and more people are becoming proactive about their foot health. I believe our small clinic is a driving force in promoting the benefits of podiatry and that very exciting.

MSK SPECALIST PODIATRIST

BSc (HONS) MRCPOD

Mags specialises in musculoskeletal podiatry with 20 years experience in all areas of podiatry, this was the area of podiatry which really ignites a fire in Mags. Mags has had a very interesting life so far having lived in various places within the UK, South Africa and Dubai.

For many years as a specialist aeromedical MSK Podiatrist with Emirates based in Dubai.

Besides having a BSc (Hons) Podiatry degree, Mags also completed a post grad in education.

Best bit about being a Podiatrist .. Treating aches and pains that people think have nothing to do with feet e.g lower back pain! Also relieving people from pain that they have had for years – this gives me such joy
